Trend Glass Technologies has been created to support the non-marine activities of Trend Marine Products. For many years Trend Marine Products has responded to customers’ requests to deliver an engineered solution for business sectors beyond the marine industry. Working with our customers and fully supporting their needs has allowed us to develop an increasingly impressive array of products and applications. The team is extremely proud that this activity has reached such a level that Trend Glass Technologies has now been created.
Trend Glass Technologies has access to all of the resources and capabilities that have been built up by Trend Marine Products over more than 40 years. Whilst the principal focus of the business is glass, there are many other complex products produced on site and as a result, a wide array of manufacturing processes have been mastered. Trend Glass Technologies utilities these capabilities to deliver complimentary products and/or complete systems. Materials used include stainless steel, aluminium, pre-preg carbon fibre and a wide array of plastics and polymers.
At the root of the success in diversification lies the company’s ability to understand a customer’s particular requirement and to engineer niche solutions to meet their needs. The engineering team is 12 strong, and includes a workshop for development and validation, as well as full 3D CAD facilities. The team remains resolutely focused on the expansion of the range of technologies and products on offer to the customers.
Located near Norwich in the east of England, Trend is the largest supplier of glass and related products within Europe for the leisure marine industry. Product aree supplied around the world to countries including Australia, the Far East, Middle East, Europe and America. Glass, doors and other products are being supplied to the world’s largest and most prestigious super yachts. The skills and capabilities that allow Trend Marine Product to do this are also at the disposal to all of the customers of Trend Glass Technologies.
